Journalist Sarah Wolpow has found a way to cut gas prices by $1.25 per gallon today. Her technique, an experiment she performed herself, was to slow down her driving and clock the results. Not only did she save gas and money, she also notes that a simple change in driving habits will cut U.S. fossil fuel use and improve national energy security.
